2008 -2009 Winter Basketball Registration

SRA Winter Basketball is for boys and girls ages 9-18 as of October 16, 2008. Practices begin in late November with games beginning December 13 and the season ending in early March with playoffs. Games are held during the week and on Saturday at the Summerfield Elementary School gym (the exception being the Girls 13-up league which participates with Oak Ridge and Stokesdale and rotates gyms).

Please bring your completed registration forms and payment to the Summerfield Elementary School Gym on Saturday, November 15 ONE HOUR PRIOR TO YOUR AGE GROUP'S EVALUATION SESSION (see below for age groups times).

Skill evaluations will be November 15 at the Summerfield Gym at the times listed below. If you are unable to attend you will be assigned to a team. We encourage all to attend the skill evaluation session. Coaches will select the teams immediately following the skills evaluation.

Coaches and Sponsors are critical to the success of the leagues. Please email the Basketball Director at SRABasketball@summerfieldrec.org if you are willing to coach or your company is willing to sponsor a team for the Winter Basketball League. 

Please bring completed registration forms, signed Parent's Code of Conduct and Liability waiver form and payment to registration signups. Checks should be made payable to Summerfield Recreation Association.
