COVID Reporting Protocol

“Pertaining to COVID procedures per North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines, Summerfield Recreation Association (SRA) will adhere to all guidelines as outlined by the NCDHHS and the CDC. These guidelines are enforced by the organization itself, the members of the organization, and the coaches.

In the event of notification of a COVID exposure/positive test by a member of the Summerfield Recreation Association, the Summerfield Recreation Association will operate under the following procedures:

  1. Notification will made to the SRA division leaders (Vice President of Baseball and/or Vice President of Softball) who will then notify the President of SRA. The President will notify the Facility-Use Department for proper dissemination
  2. Exposure/Positive test requires a minimum of a 5-day quarantine/isolation since last exposure and no symptoms or fever during this time period
    1. Positive results will require a negative result prior to reentry into the site/school
    2. The negative test result date should be included in a follow-up notification
  1. The date the individual was last at the site/school
  2. Notification will include date of exposure/positive test and dates of quarantine/isolation and any factual information to further support exposure risk
