Stars Travel Program

The Summerfield STARS are travel teams with highly talented and dedicated players that thrive within the sport.

The Stars baseball teams have annual tryouts in June/July of each year – the season runs from August 1 to July 31. Once a player is chosen to be a member of a specific team, it is a one-year commitment beginning in August and concluded the following July.

The Stars softball teams have annual tryouts in June/July of each year – the season runs from September 1 to August 31. Once a player is chosen to be a member of a specific team, it is a one-year commitment beginning in September and concluded in August.

Numerous tournaments are played in the fall, spring and summer; winter training also takes place (with coaches’ discretion). Individualized instructor led training is also highly encouraged for each player. Teams typically have two to three mandatory practices a week and play in two to three tournaments a month (which may include travel).
