Boys League ($140)

Players are assigned to leagues based on their age. That age criteria for the 2024/2025 Basketball Season is August 31, 2024. Ask yourself how old the child is on August 31, 2024 and that is which age league you select.
If your child has a medical issue or serious safety concern and you would like to discuss your child playing down, you must register your child for the correct/appropriate age group based on their birthdate and then reach out to the VP of Basketball.

- Team Drafts (Coaches Only/REQUIRED): November 10th @ 6pm (Rock Gym)

- Playoffs Begin: February 17
The season officially begins mid-November with evaluations and goes through February. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping grow the Basketball program and/or coaching, please email basketball@srasports.org.

How does the Basketball season work?
Teams will play at least 7 games in the regular season, plus the end-of-year tournament. Practice time sand locations will depend on age group. Games are played on Friday evenings, all day on Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons.

- Summerfield Elementary Rock Gym
- Gospel Baptist Church
- Stokesdale Elementary Gym

Rules for each league are slightly different. Please review the rules carefully!
Weather Policy
SRA Basketball follows Guilford County Schools weather policy for all games or practices played in school gyms. If Guilford County Schools are canceled for inclement weather, there will be no basketball games or practices that day in any school gym. Coaches of the teams playing that day will be notified if there are cancellations. Every effort will be made to post cancellations on this Web site.
